The creation of this system started in the late Spring of 2022. A co-worker who is a Luciferian and Left Hand Path practitioner made me aware of the potency of the Left Hand Path in particular the infernal and necromantic energies. I will state for accuracy that we are talking about the Western definition of Left/Right Hand Path rather than the Eastern. I will also state that the Left Hand Path, at least those who know what they are doing, is not necessarily evil per se, but it is a ruthless path. One sacrifices a lot to gain power. I like to say that the Right Hand Path grows the garden, while the Left Hand Path prunes the garden… with demons. But yes, one can do horrible things and bring harm to others with the Left Hand Path. But the higher level Left Hand Path practitioners tend to focus on very bad people and/or fight amongst themselves, which means the average person won’t ever interact with them. They don’t tend to prey upon innocent people, in other words.
At the time my co-worker was considered merely an adept (but is now operating at a higher level), however he outclassed what I could do quite drastically and could blow through any defense that Rún Valdr could muster. We had been testing the defense of objects that I had attuned using Rún Valdr. This is when I realized that Rún Valdr objects retain a link to the one that created them. I would feel the attacks he launched at the objects. He got through all the Rún Valdr defenses easily and during one test he went a bit spicy. That night I had a dream that my beard was full of large, nasty looking grubs. I was horrified as I pulled grub after grub out of my beard until finally it was clear. Later my co-worker said that this was necromantic seeds that he tends to use in curse work. Also during our testing, the energy he used gave me a headache and did not feel nice. After that he toned down the spice during tests.
I’ve been studying magic/magick, runes, and energy work since the mid 1980s. Heck, Rún Valdr itself is around since late 2003. I’m not an amateur or a noob in such matters, but was shocked at the power level discrepancy between us. I felt that there must be a way to reach that level of power on the Right Hand side of things despite my co-worker’s assertion that the Right Hand Path could never come close to the power of the Left Hand Path. I also realized that there needed to be some level of defense against the Left Hand Path. To contain if things got out of hand at the very least.
Now I am not advocating “going after” Left Hand path practitioners, especially those who know what they are doing. You will just get hurt and most likely dead. Some have very powerful passive protection that will automatically react badly to any sort of attack or intrusion, and they are not afraid to use death curses. Don’t shake that hornets’ nest. But that said, a means to oppose such things is useful, as well as gaining a corresponding power level.
In the search for something that could combat infernal and/or necromantic energies (and to match their power levels) I felt there had to be some source of energy that would be the opposite of these energies. I recalled something from my early days of playing Dungeons and Dragons, namely the Positive Material Plane. This seemed to be the answer. I went to Odin and asked for a symbol to access this plane of existence. Sama was the result. I'm not saying that the place I connected to is literally the Positive Material Plane from a role playing game. But it does appear to be full of light and is very potent.
The symbol Sama represents this particular plane of existence as well as sending out energy from this place. I have since started calling this plane of existence Ljos Heim (pronounced: Lee-ohs High-m), or Light Home. At last I had the start of something to work with and the energy felt good to me. The night after I got this symbol I had a dream where I finally found a place I had been looking for and was happy to have found the place. That dream seemed significant and proof I was on the right path.
